Philip Shen
Mr. Shen is a Managing Director, Senior Research Analyst at ROTH, providing equity research coverage of the Cleantech sector with a focus on Renewables. Since 2010, he has built a franchise that leverages a global and deep industry network, enabling him to stay on the leading edge of what matters for solar stocks and the industry. Financial media publications, including the Wall Street Journal and Barron’s, have quoted him numerous times.
Before joining ROTH, he worked as a Research Associate at J.P. Morgan and Bear Steams. He received a StarMine Analyst Award for the No. 1 Earnings Estimator of Semiconductors and Semiconductor Equipment in 2015 and a Thomson Reuters award for the No. 1 Stock Picker of Semiconductors and Semiconductor Equipment in 2016. He was also a member of a team ranked by Institutional Investor magazine as the “Second Team” for its Machinery coverage in 2007, 2008, and 2009 at Bear Stearns and J.P. Morgan.
Mr. Shen received a B.S. in computer science from Brown University and an M.B.A. from Stanford University.
