PV Tech has been running PV ModuleTech Conferences since 2017. PV ModuleTech USA, on 17-18 June 2025, will be our fourth PV ModulelTech conference dedicated to the U.S. utility scale solar sector. The event will gather the key stakeholders from solar developers, solar asset owners and investors, PV manufacturing, policy-making and and all interested downstream channels and third-party entities. The goal is simple: to map out the PV module supply channels to the U.S. out to 2026 and beyond.
Solar PV module supply to the U.S. continues to see rapid changes: module suppliers; the range of companies and countries now importing product to the U.S.; the technologies being offered; the quality and reliability of the modules; and the financial health of the suppliers themselves. No other end-market in the solar industry today has so many barriers-to-entry, so many questions for buyers to address, and so much risk associated with supply contracts; in particular, from overseas companies selling into the U.S. market.
PV ModuleTech USA 2025 – taking place in Napa, California on 17-18 June 2025 – will provide an invaluable two-days of urgent fact-finding for module buyers, investors and third-party stakeholders engaged in the U.S. eco-system of module production, importing, buying and deployment.
Who are the new module suppliers from Southeast Asia? How much new wafer and cell capacity has come online in countries such as Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Cambodia, Laos and Indonesia – specific for U.S. module supply traceability? How much new supply is coming from Indian module producers? Who are the leading Indian module suppliers? Where do they source wafers and cells? Is importing from Europe more attractive today, given the very low module pricing in Europe now? And on pricing, what is a good deal for buying modules today when thinking about 2026 contracted deliveries?
Co-located for the third consecutive year in Napa – alongside our conference partner, PV Evolution Labs (PVEL) – the PV ModuleTech USA experience will allow for a stimulating and enjoyable two-days during which to fully understand how module supply in the U.S. is evolving now, while enjoying the pleasures of Napa during on-site and off-site networking activities.
